Summer Activities
When the snow melts, a whole other world of activities opens up in Vail. This alpine wonderland features sunny, 80-degree days just right for mountain biking, hiking, fly-fishing and rafting. And then there's golfing with 13 championship courses, including two designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Vail also hosts concerts, cultural and arts events, and even rodeos.
When you visit Vail Cascade Resort & Spa during the summer, take a walk or bike ride along the scenic, paved trail located behind the resort alongside Gore Creek. If you follow the trail east, it will take you to Vail and Lionshead Villages, the Vail Golf Course and even over Vail Pass to Summit County. Taken west, the path leads to several parks with playgrounds and picnic facilities.
